Jonathan Dokler keeps on adding to his resume. A year after the 28-year-old burst onto the scene with a number of high profile wins, both live and online, he has added yet another notch in his belt: World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event winner.

In January 2020, Dokler won a $5,000 high roller at the Borgata for $100,829. He followed that up in March by winning his first WSOP Circuit ring, a $525 Monster Stack online event on Then came the exclamation point. Dokkler took down won Event #1 of the 2020 World Series of Poker Online on for $130,426.

On Sunday, Dokler beat out 661 other entries to win the $525 buy-in Caesars Atlantic City WSOP Circuit Main Event and walked away with $52,761.40 from the $331,000 prize pool and the second WSOPC ring of his career. Matt ‘Impervious’ Zoorob finished as the runner-up for $39,058 while Justin ‘MadTitan’ Turner, who finished second to Dokler in the WSOP Online bracelet event, banked $28,797 as the third place finisher.

Dokler’s victories was one of 12 events that made up the Caesars Atlantic City WSOP Circuit schedule over the last two weeks and awarded more than $1.75 million in prize money.

Eight Might Not Be Enough for Daniel Buzgon

When 2021 began, New Jersey’s Daniel Buzgon had four career WSOP Circuit wins to his name. He’s now doubled that after winning Event #1 (BIG $500 PLO 6-Max) for $12,936.83. In February, Buzgon won back-to-back Circuit Planet Hollywood Circuit in February for nearly $40,000. In late March, he shipped Event #9 of the Circuit Silver Legacy Circuit series for $24,419.

Buzgon is tied for 10th on the all-time WSOP Circuit wins list. Maurice Hawkins holds the record for the most ever with 14 Circuit rings.

Anthony Maio ‘Binks’ Third Ring

For the third year in a row, New Jersey grinder Anthony ‘flawlessbinkage’ Maio grabbed himself a WSOP Circuit ring. Maio won Event #3 ($525 Monster Stack 8-Max) for $36,231. The event drew 390 entries to build a $195,000 prize pool – $70,000 clear of the initial guarantee of $125,000. Kenneth Neri earned $26,813 as the runner-up.

Maio won his first WSOP-C ring in March 2019 when he outlasted 294 other entries in Event #11 ($215 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed) of the 2018-19 WSOP Circuit (Online Circuit) on In February 2020, Maio beat out 377 other runners in Event #5 ($320 No-Limit Hold’em Double Stack) of the 2019-20 WSOP Circuit (Online Circuit) for his second ring and  $29,484.

The biggest buy-in event on the schedule also happened to the last event on the schedule. Ryan ‘WHOSYOURDODD’ Dodd took full advantage of the final opportunity to grab a ring and beat out the 120 other entrants to win Event #12 ($2,000 Super High Roller 6-Max) for a $51,300 payday and his first career WSOP C title.
